  • ARTS/CULTURE: ($58,130.00)

BINGHAMTON PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA - $10,000.00 towards the purchase of a Yamaha N3X Digital Baby Grand Piano to be stored and utilized at the Broome County Forum

EQUINUNK HISTORICAL SOCIETY -  $11,130.00 towards the dredging of the Duck Hill Pond and reparations of a crack in the dam and sinkhole in order to continue operations of the Joel Hill Historic Water Powered Sawmill

 

FRANKLIN STAGE COMPANY - $12,000.00 towards funding the preparation, priming, and painting of the exterior front facade of the Chapel Hall Historical Theater and its window sills and doors

 

TRI-CITIES OPERA - $25,000.00 towards funding the Tri Cities Opera major events programming for its 75th Anniversary Celebration Season

 

  • COMMUNITY/RECREATION:  ($273,242.45)

BARBARA MOSCATO BROWN MEMORIAL LIBRARY - $16,440.00 funding to assist with full technology upgrade at the Library to include a media cart for zoom conferences, desktop computers, laptops, hardware, software and portable devices

 

CAMERON COUNTY OUTDOOR YOUTH ACTIVITIES - $150,000.00 to assist with funding full rehabilitation of Beaver Hall, its 40' x 90' Activities Building which houses Youth Programming


CATSKILL RECREATION CENTER - $5,000.00 to assist with funding for the Life Guard Training and Life Guard Instructor Training Program

 

EMPORIUM, BOROUGH OF - $10,000.00 to assist with funding the creation of a dog park located in the Borough of Emporium, Pennsylvania

 

HANCOCK PARTNERS - $60,000.00 to continue with funding salaries or contract services for the Economic Revitalization and Marketing Initiative in 2024 in Hancock, New York

 

JOHNSON CITY SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER - $16,802.45 towards the installation of new HVAC for the Center and towards new LED motion activated portico lights, new LED parking lot lights, new fire alarm control panel and a knox box for Fire Department access

 

ST. MARK COMMUNITY DAY CARE CENTER, INC.  - $15,000.00 to assist with program costs of the Daycare Center in 2024/2025 and to purchase a new freezer for the Center

  • EDUCATION: ($76,356.60)

COMMUNITY EDUCATION COUNCIL - $20,000.00 to assist with funding the expansion of the DISCOVER Partnership to include a STEM Program Component for Elk and Cameron Counties, PA with funding over four years (this is the second installment of an $80,000.00 total grant)


JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA  - $15,000.00 to fund Junior Achievement Programming in Grades K-6 at Cameron County Woodland Elementary School in the 2024/2025 school year

 

HANCOCK COMMUNITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION - $15,000 to fund the Children's Center Program (ages birth to 3) for 2025

 

ST. PAUL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH - $25,000.00 to fund the Hancock Community Preschool for 2025

 

UNITED WAY OF BROOME COUNTY - $1,356.60 to assist with funding the 2024/2025 Executive Director Leadership Academy Workshop Series for local nonprofits

 

  • HEALTH/HUMAN SERVICES: ($785,320.00)

AVRE - $150,000.00 for the construction of a 70' x 90' addition and the purchase and installation of an additional roll stand, all to expand its paper manufacturing division in Binghamton, New York

 

BINGHAMTON BROOME COUNTY YMCA - $10,000.00 towards providing the Livestrong Program in 2024 (this being the first installment on a multi-year grant totaling $30,000.00)

 

BROOME COUNTY COUNCIL OF CHURCHES - $10,000.00 for the CHOW Food Pantry Program

 

EMPORIUM VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT  - $$50,000.00 towards the purchase of a 2025 Rosenbauer Fire Truck (this being the first installment on a multi-year grant totaling $100,000.00)

 

GUY AND MARY FELT MANOR - $54,200.00 for the purchase and installation of a new refrigeration and freezer system for the Center

 

GUY AND MARY FELT MANOR - $200,000.00 towards the cost of conversion of five skilled nursing patient units into five personal care units and for the purchase and installatoin of a new water heater system for the Manor

 

HANCOCK, VILLAGE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT - $50,000.00 towards the purchase and customization of a 2025 KME Pumper Truck with 1,500 gallon per minute pump, (this being the first installment on a multi year grant totaling $150,000.00)

 

MERCY HOUSE OF THE SOUTHERN TIER - $100,000.00 towards the construction of a one story 2,415 square foot addition to the existing footprint of the Mercy House with furnishings for same, followed by other upgrades to the existing footprint including replacement of existing roof and driveway and VRF Condensing Units

 

NORTHERN TIER COMMUNITY ACTION - $10,000.00 for the Emporium, PA Food Pantry

 

NORTHERN TIER COMMUNITY ACTION - $151,120.00 for renovations and construction upgrades to property at 75 S. Maple Street, Emporium, PA, said property to be utilized as the new Emporium Food Pantry
